Terms and Policies of Service
General Terms and Policies
KSPCS provides invoices for the cost of services rendered to the client at regular intervals. If payment is not recieved by the date specified on the invoice, KSPCS retains the right to withhold materials and suspend services until payment is made in full. KSPCS also retains the right to deny services deemed improper, illegal, or otherwise unacceptable for the client.
Graphic Design Terms and Policies
It is the policy of KSPCS to design graphics completely void of copyrighted material not owned by either our offices or the client. Images and source files created and used by KSPCS belong to KSPCS. Only the final product image(s) are the property of the client. The only exception is with Logo Graphic Design. Logos created, source files used, and any other material used for the logo design are the sole property of the client.
Web Design Terms and Policies
In the event that the client desires to change hosting and retain domain name(s) from KSPCS to another service, KSPCS requires payment in full on all outstanding accounts. Once this requirement is met, we will release the client's domain name(s) and provide them with the browser-level source code for each page of their website. Server-level source code is the property of KSPCS and will not be included.
Technical Support Terms and Policies
Technical support payments are due upon completion of support or pickup of materials. Even if support is completed, materials cannot be released without payment in full. Service will not be provided if payment cannot be secured.
Hosting Terms and Policies
Hosting with KSPCS is provided at a flat yearly rate and invoiced when renewal is necessary. Hosting costs include and cover basic maintenence and operation costs, and are non-refundable.
Site Warrantee Terms and Policies
KSPCS provides a 3-month warrantee which begins once a website goes live (becomes viewable to the public). Site warrantee covers minor bug fixes and changes, to be approved by KSPCS. Most of the software provided by KSPCS is custom made, and thus requires custom bug reports from the client. KSPCS provides this warrantee with the understanding that 3 months (a quarter of a year) is enough time for a client to use and test their sites, and report bugs and other issues. Any bug fixes and/or changes made after the alotted warrantee are subject to further charges.
